1. Dark chocolate, olive oil & sea salt popcorn

A sweetly sophisticated snack we could eat all night! Just pop your kernels in olive oil, then melt dark chocolate, stir in olive oil to taste, drizzle over the popcorn and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. If you're feeling extra indulgent, break out the toffee popcorn bark to share.

Something savoury for spice enthusiasts, if you like a little bit of heat with your treats this is for you.Start the popcorn off in oil and butter. While the popcorn is warm, mix in curry powder to taste and season with salt. If you're bored of standard sweet or bland salted popcorn, this is a great grown-up version. 3. Fennel seed & chilli popcorn

Spruce up your kernels with this vibrant green tea recipe. Add a light or liberal spoonful and toss your popcorn for a delicious titbit.Fry the kernels in a flavourless oil like sunflower oil. Mix together matcha powder and icing sugar to your desired sweetness, then shake the popcorn in the matcha sugar.

5. Banoffee popcorn

Crunchy banana chips and lashings of dulce de leche are set to be the stars of any movie night. If you're partial to caramel, this is the one for you.

Pop your kernels in a mixture of oil and butter. Crush banana chips, then stir through the popcorn with dulce de leche.
