The Dualit Dual Max is truly simple to use. Arriving virtually pre assembled with a handful of recipes to get you inspired, you can plug in and start juicing instantly. Its polished chrome design gives it a contemporary look; particularly the statement handle which secures the lid.

The machine is quite large. Pulp is caught in a 2L compartment at the back of the juicer which almost doubles the depth of its footprint. However, when removed it would fit in an average size cupboard making it much easier to store.

There are two juicing speeds to help the juicer tackle both hard and soft ingredients. One thing we particularly like is the Dualit’s 70mm feeding chute which takes small apples whole.

The juicer drum has double sieve technology to help you get maximum juice yield from fruit and vegetables. Being a centrifugal juicer, the Dualit is much noisier than other machines we tested but non-slip feet help keep it grounded whilst it whirls away.

It’s also not the most efficient machine for batch juicing, with its provided jug being just 800ml in capacity. However, you’ll get a good two glasses out of this. The jug helpfully fits over the juicer spout to help prevent any spillages.

When it comes to cleaning the juicer, each attachment is dishwasher safe which adds to its convenience. We recommend rinsing the inside of the lid beforehand as the pulp gets easily stuck. The machine would work well for a couple or small family wanting a quick healthy juice in a hurry.
