Christmas party dip and ceviche

No party would be complete without a few nibbles to whet your appetite for the main event. Crisps and dips are always a winner, especially if avocado is involved, so feed your guests our Christmas ceviche with guacamole. For another dippable party treat try polenta & prosciutto chips which add a stylish pop of colour to your buffet table. Alternatively, you can't go wrong with a classic combination of salmon and zingy lemon in these mini fish cakes.

Mustard & clementine ham hock shredded

Serve up traditional roast turkey without the fuss. We've coated ours in a simple mustard and honey glaze that gives it a subtle sweetness along with five spice to make it even more festive. Don't forget to save the juices from the tin as well, for a deliciously rich gravy. For Boxing Day, our mustard & clementine glazed ham hock is an easy recipe that glistens with dark, caramelised treacle. If you're looking for a hearty vegetarian main, our Persian-inspired cranberry, sprout & pecan pilaf works well as part of a buffet.
